Classification of Side Scuttle
According to ISO standards, side scuttles are divided into three basic types according to the maximum allowable pressure they can withstand: Type A heavy side scuttle, Type B medium side scuttle and Type C light side scuttle. Type A and Type B have inner storm covers. Port scuttles can be divided into left-opening (L), right-opening (R), co-hinge (S) and fixed (N) according to whether the window sash frame with glass can be opened.
